no, actually we played a show with them at sam's booger joint years past. i thought they were friendly enough mooks. they played a set of watered down frat fonk that'd be a perfect soundtrack for a daterape. okay so whatever, it's a mis-matched bill, happens all the time.

then someone showed me a link to their website where a review of that show was posted going on about how great and "original" the dogmenpoots were and quite a bit trashing "opening act boxcar satan having nothing to offer".  i attempted to write this reviewer (holly body, or honey bunny, or similiar) and it links me to <<-surprise->> the dmp lead singer.

anyway, that's why i don't like them.

sounds about right comng from them... remember in the mid-late 90's when they took their massive self-promotion machine to the streets and highways of our fair city, scrawling their creative and original name across publically funded concrete with a rattle can in an original and creative way? that was creative and original and great. and creative.
