Boxcar
Satan puts its hands on the gospel plough and gives it
a sharp 90-degree turn on this five-song disk recorded
live on a Texas tour with Brooklyn, New York's Rev.
Vince Anderson. Vince is the originator of a style known as panty
droppin' gospel which involves him pounding the piano like
Jerry Lee and Doctor John while singing like the bastard
son of Tom Waits and Blind Willie Johnson. He provides
the tunes and the Boxcars capably back him up. It may be
a match made in Heaven, but it's a Hell of a lot of fun.
Live five-song disk recorded as backing band for New York's
Rev. Vince Anderson. Released fall 2004. Recorded at the Wreck
Room in Fort Worth, Texas, by Adam Leventhal.
